SYNOPSIS: One rule: “No smoking indoor”, as the title points out to us. An old lady spends her days looking out of the window, looking at a world that intrigues her. Her husband prevents her from smoking, so she gives herself this luxury, secretly, only when he is not there. The couple’s problems are a kind of mirror for her, in which to see her life again and look for a solution, which in the end seems to be a drastic decision.
PROFILE: Philipp Westerfeld was born in 1991 in Hamburg. He has been a student at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and Ryerson University Toronto. He decided to study film because he has been a big fan of movies since his early childhood. For the future he is planning to shot some new short films and he just started preparing his first feature film. A dream would be that this feature gets a theatrical release.
