SYNOPSIS: Ready, set, action! And we mean action, both figuratively and literally. In our documentary we follow three women involved in Uganda’s most exciting action film studio – Wakaliwood. We will follow one lady in particular, who is working on her very first action film. This is a documentary about finding your path in life. It is about refusing to adapt to a given role and being brave enough to do what we really love.
PROFILE: Nora Fogelström, Linn Björklund and Amanda Moen studied documentary film making at the Red Cross school in Sweden. Nora is currently working with communication, copywriting and producing videos and short movies for a Company. Linn Björklund has been active in the film industry since 2019, mainly working with drama production. Amanda Moen is currently studying Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg.
