SYNOPSIS: Going through institutions and social organizations, Ligia, a mourning peasant mother, will search for answers to her son’s death.
BIOGRAPHY: Born on October 10, 1992, in Mexico City, Hugo Magaña moved to Irapuato, Guanajuato at only 3 months of age, place that he really consider as his born city. He studied in Irapuato through high school where he discovered he wanted to become a filmmaker. He worked a couple of months in the digital magazine “El rostro de la política”. He lived in the city of Guanajuato and then moved to Mexico City, where has participated in cinematography courses and workshops. Not being able to enter the CCC, he decided to study International Business Administration for some time. He began studies at the CCC in 2013, specializing in Direction. He has participated in multiple projects, such as short reports, videoclips and shortfalls at school and outside.
