Gabriele Roberto is the first Italian composer who has been awarded with the Japan Academy Prize, the most prestigious prize in Japan for a film music composer. After his Degree in Composition in Italy, he completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Composition at the Royal College of music in London. Based in Tokyo, he composes music for Japanese, Italian and Chinese movies, animations and TV commercials. As orchestrator and arranger he is published by Sony, Universal, EMI, Columbia and Sugar Music.
