SYNOPSIS: Set in the 50’s, Terre Ferme is the story of Émile, a young teenager who lives in an isolated farm with his parents Irène and Gérard. The father tells Émile that one day he will have to take over the farm, whether he likes it or not. However, when a young pilote named Jacques makes an emergency landing with his plane on a field near the farm, Émile only hopes one thing: to convince the pilote to fly away with him.
PROFILE: Born in France, Ivän James Hayward has been a cinema enthusiast since his childhood. The first short he directed, Frog & Rosbeef, won an award at the Première Marche-Festival of Vannes in 2013. He was in the audiovisual section in high school and after his senior year he decided to join the CinéCréatis School in 2016. During his first year he focused on Direction, paying particular attention to composition so as to develop well-detailed shots. Next year he wis going to specialize in Camera & Lighting.
