Now in its third edition, the program that opens the tenth Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival represents a showcase of the titles made by the students of the Master in Fine Arts in Filmmaking of Ca’ Foscari University, ideally positioning itself as a stepping stone to their professional career. One year of work, carried out between March 2019 and February 2020, which involved them in the experimentation of different cinematographic languages: fiction, documentary, experimental films, commercials and music videos. Moreover, for each work the students took turns in different roles and acquired tout court skills in the wide panorama of languages and expressions that cinema allows us to use.

As in the homonymous painting by Yves Tanguy, details take the viewer through an oblique, ambiguous place: not recognizable, but at the same time not indistinct The possibility of awakening the audience’s most responsive feeling to beauty, and at the same time making it impossible for the viewer to set the place in a specific time or space are the tools used to push the public to approach and enjoy the work in full. The place is the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which asked to collaborate with the Master students to realize a short movie intended to reveal its qualities through its most fascinating yet unknown aspects.
