SYNOPSIS: Khalid, an old writer who belongs to one of the wealthiest Muslim families of the village, is suffering from schizophrenia and is struggling to write an end to his last and most ambitious novel. The chaos that rules his mind is reflected into the tense atmosphere of the Indian Partition, in a historical moment when the boundaries between India and the newly formed Pakistan are about to be announced.
PROFILE: Abhishek Gowda earned an Advanced Diploma in Filmmaking from Whistling Woods International in Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Mysore. He is an expert in using filmmaking software and he has written and directed seven short films; he has also worked as an assistant for over fifteen short films. He iss currently working in Kannada Film Industry as Assistant Director.
