DANIELE FURLATI is a composer and a pianist. He has co-authored with Marco Biscarini the music of award-winning feature films, including the soundtrack for Il vento fa il suo giro (The wind wanders around) (2005), Best Original Music Award at the Lagonegro 2007 Festival, The Man Who Will Come (2009) Ennio Morricone Award at the Bari Film Festival 2010, nomination for the David di Donatello Award 2010as Best Musician, and One day you have to go (2013), nomination for the Ciak d’Oro 2013 Award as Best Soundtrack. He composed the music for theater performances, for commercials, short films and documentaries. He collaborates with the Cineteca di Bologna (Bologna Film Library) as a pianist and composer for silent cinema. He is Professor of Composition for music applied to images at the Music Conservatory Francesco Venezze of Rovigo.
