SYNOPSIS
Fernanda is sick of her life, because of the only way she could find to support her sister and her niece. Through the perspective of a suburban transsexual woman from the south of Brazil, we follow Fernanda’s journey to get the job she had always wanted.
PROFILE
Débora Zanatta and Estevan de la Fuente are students, screenwriters and filmmakers. Their films cover LGBTQI+ themes, with “Fernanda’s Spring” being the third shared direction. The first short film directed by the duo was “Lovedoll”, which participated in several festivals in Brazil and internationally, and was part of the third season of the program “Cinema in Other Colors”, presented by Jean Wyllys, in the Canal Brasil.
