SYNOPSIS: An average family car trip to reach some relative’s weeding celebration soon turns into a race against time disturbed by the many arguments. The more they fight the more they come close to the edge of destroying their family harmony, but the matriarch’s intervention will prove providential in solving the conflict between her husband and their son Shalin.
PROFILE: Devik Rathod was born in the state of Gujarat (India) and graduated in Civil Engineering. However, he has been fascinated by the world of cinema since he was a young boy. He set his mid to learning how to make a film, and started from the internet, where he began to direct several short films, sketches and advertisements with the help of the members of a Film Club he co-founded while he was attending University. After some other experiences, he attended a Diploma course in Filmmaking at Whistling Woods International, which gave him the possibility to work within the desired environment. Devik is currently working as a freelance writer-director and hopes to find a position within the directing team of a feature film in the near future.
