SYNOPSIS: Thirteen years old Aya is raped by her dentist. Blurry from anesthesia and overwhelmed by pain, unable to move or resist, she feels paralyzed. The days go by slowly and all she can feel is the sharp pain of her tooth aching. Refuses to tell her mother, closed up in her room, Aya is haunted with violent visions of rage and anger. In her visions, she’s the heroine of justice. In her dreams, revenge can cure her soul.
PROFILE: Adi Shaya was born in 1988 in Hadera, Israel. Graduated Film Studies from the Department of visual Arts in Sapir College. During her studies she specialized mainly in writing, directing, production, artistic design and casting.
