SYNOPSIS: An armed security guard, Asif Hafeez, accidentally kills his fellow guard Ashok one night at their workspace. Ashok was trying to rob the same place they were defending. Upon realising that Ashok was unarmed, Asif regrets his action and feels remorseful. Ten years pass by and Asif has become alienated from most of the people around him. The only human interaction he has is with the chai boy Tipu. But the past actions still haunt him and one night, at the workspace, the same situation that had happened ten years ago repeats itself with Asif.
PROFILE: Aly Rana is 23 years old. He hails from a small town in central India, known as Nagpur, and eventually his love for cinema took him the city of Mumbai, which is the cinema hub of India. He recently finished studying film direction from Whistling Woods International. ‘Moksha’ is the student short film he wrote and directed as part of his final semester film. Currently he is employed by his film school and its parent company ‘Mukta Arts’, to make more short films for them.
