SYNOPSIS: In order to heal her grieving mother, Ana, a devout 9-year-old girl, pushes her faith to its limit hoping in divine intervention.
PROFILE: Based in NYC but from Monterrey, Mexico. Cris Gris‘ work has been screened internationally in various venues, including art galleries. She is a multifaceted artist, engaged in acting, writing and directing. She obtained her first leading role in the feature independent drama Fish Bones. Gris has written and directed various fashion films, art and music videos which have been published in magazines such as Juxtapoz and nominated by MTV Latin America for “Video of the Year”. Her short film San Miguel, received the renowned Spike Lee Film Production Fund, and a Hollywood Foreign Press Association grant. She is currently writing a pilot and developing her first feature film.
