SYNOPSIS: “I want to record everything slowly because I am unable to stop, I just can’t help it. I want her to remember her own name”. The short tells the story of Lucas, a young boy who is suffering because of his mother Shou’s disease, Alzheimer. Trying to help her mother, Lucas decides to record a video diary, narrated by the woman herself. Will he be able to maintain her memory alive?
PROFILE: Nour Al-Moujabber is a young filmmaker born in December 1994. He earned his MA degree from the Lebanese University in 2018. He is interested in theater performances, in particular those referring to the children’s world. More specifically, his work is mainly about reading scripts for TV dramas and cinema, although he is also interested in teahcjing screenwriting.
