The “Francesco Pasetti” video contest at Ca’ Foscari Short Fim Festival
The XIII^ edition of the festival “Francesco Pasinetti” wants to focus on a particular theme: “Venice: lights and shadows on the present and the past”. The intent is to give importance to the places, the traditions, the safeguard of the city. Venice is the key issue and protagonist of the video contest, a city which has always been –and still is- the crossroads of people, art and historical traditions.
The choice of placing Venice at the center of the contest is motivated by our wish to consider the major issues which are threatening its existence. We are going to help this city stay alive by raising awareness of the difficult situation and the many emergency issues threatening its daily life. It is our shared responsibility to do what we can to help our city.
