SYNOPSIS: To fulfill his mother’s last wish, young Jakob Adler needs to meet his biological father, who has been a psychiatric inmate patient for 25 years, after murdering his own brother. While talking to the doctor in charge, Dr. Weiss, Jacob unfolds the true scale of the tragedy of so many years before.
PROFILE: Dustin Loose was born in 1986 in Bonn, Germany. In 2001 he started working as an actor and assistant director in a local theater. He soon proved his talent and started to assist well-known European directors, such as Werner Schoroeter and Christofer Schlingensief. In 2006 he directed his first feature film, Roltreppe abwaerts. In 2007 he started attending directing classes at the Filmakademie BadenWuertenberg, where he finished in 2014 with the adaptation of Hakan Nesser’s The last will.
