SYNOPSIS: Elise is on her way to a school parent-teacher night. Her daughter has been involved in a bullying accident. Elise arrives late and finds out that the other parents have already started the meeting. To everyone’s surprise, the teacher finds an unusual way to explain the children’s situation.
PROFILE: Iina Lempiäinen was born in 1989. She graduated from the Turku Arts Academy in spring 2014. The Silence of our friends is her thesis work on direction. In the last two years, she has taken part in several film projects, co-producing, directing and writing screenplays.
