SYNOPSIS: In the middle of South America’s decaying wilderness, a woman has an affair with a priest. To punish her, God transforms her in a macabre creature – The Headless Mule. The priest then tries to chase her in her escape to and from her destiny. Hypocrisy, lust, sin, and the imminent apocalypse. Can a curse bring one’s salvation?
PROFILE: Tamires Muniz is an animator born & now based in Brazil. She had studied and worked in UK, Australia, Peru, and Estonia, but have now decided to go back to her home country to fight fascism and nature destruction. She (still) believes in the power of art to change the world and, most importantly, in animation as a tool to imaginate different futures.
