Summer School Venice International University
La prima edizione della Summer School Films in Venice and Filming Venice (7 agosto – 5 settembre 2018), un’iniziativa di Venice International University, in collaborazione con le università associate Ca’ Foscari, Iuav, Tel Aviv, Waseda e IULM, è stata organizzata in concomitanza con il 75° Festival Internazionale di Arte Cinematografica di Venezia, coinvolgendo 24 studenti provenienti da tutto il mondo.
Lo scopo della Scuola era quello di combinare teoria e pratica cinematografica, applicandoli alle rappresentazioni di Venezia, attraverso un approccio multidisciplinare e multiculturale, che si rifletteva sia nella composizione della facoltà che nel corpo studentesco.
