SYNOPSIS: A store owner, Daisy, and her employees, still resentful and vengeful against the ruthless CEO who drove them out of business, organize a fake art sale to swindle the arrogant entrepreneur and millionaire William Carter, CEO of the supermarket chain that drove Daisy and his people into bankruptcy.
PROFILES: Alejandro Sánchez Porras is a Spanish filmmaker who recently graduated from Screen Academy Scotland with a Master in Film Directing. During his Bachelor he directed the short thriller Verte, which was selected in more than 30 international film festivals, including the “ICARO Festival internacional de cine de Centroamerica 2018” and the “Miami Independent Film Festival 2019”. Established in London, Alejandro recently directed the music video Smile like a Clown for the artist Ini Lowe.
Miriam is a German filmmaker and graduate from Screen Academy Scotland with a Masters in Directing. Before working in film, she studied Media Design in Berlin, where she shot her first film Refugium Berlin. Amongst other film festivals it was selected at the Belfast Human Rights Film Festival in 2017. Now she lives in London, where she has recently directed the music video October Rain for the artist E^RTH. It has won several awards and is currently in the festival circuit.
