SYNOPSIS: After the recent political attacks in a small Eastern European village, everyone stops talking to thirteen years old Ivanka, as if she was the one who caused the conflicts. Looking for modesty in people and in relationships, Ivanka discovers the odd feeling of losing her most loved ones.
PROFILE: Štefánia Lovasová (26) was born in Spišská Nová Ves in Slovakia. She just finished her master’s degree of Film Directing at the Film Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She also spent her pre-final year at UNATC Bucharest. Her bachelor film Only Plastics and Diamonds are Forever premiered at Premiers Plans First FIlm Festival in France. Working in the audiovisual industry, she focuses mostly on the topics of coming of age, youth and family drama.
