SYNOPSIS: An unexpected pregnancy upsets Claire, but she decides to pretend to be happy about it in front of her husband and friends. But there is something, a painful memory from the past, that won’t let her find peace. Hey distress grows bigger and bigger everyday, just like her desire of isolation, but Claire is not alone: a presence torments her with the sound of an old carillon.
In an awkward atmosphere made stronger by the few dialogues, this short movie investigates the darkest and most tormented places of memory. A journey between past and present that leaves the audience with bated breath. A mind that can’t find peace and a woman who can’t tell truth from fantasy. To what extent can memory influence reality?
