SYNOPSIS: Freeze is Nelicia Low’s second narrative short movie. It tells the story of a love born among infirm personal dynamics. The director’s personal experience emerges together with her family life. «Do you love me?» is the recurring theme of the short movie, a question constantly repeated by the main character, yearning for the answer. The woman is also always accompanied by her autistic brother, in a morbid love triangle with the main character’s husband. The male characters are thus transformed in mere love objects, who only keeps them to satisfy her need for unicity and ephemeral certainties.
