SYNOPSIS: In an ethereal and surreal atmosphere, daily life is timed by two gigantic black and white creatures, who count the minutes to the end of the day. While adults spend their time making food, checking food supplies and rationing them in numbered boxes, kids are fed the same food every day and in turn feed a goat. The cold setting reflects the discomfort of a sterile daily life, timed down by inorganic rhythms.
Inspired by childhood memories, Eri Okazaki reflects on solitude, refuting the idea of the past as a moment of conviviality and communication
