PROFILE: Hippolyte Leibovici is a young Franco-Belgian director. His relationship with cinema began at the age of 13 when he distributed coffees on movie sets of an African production box in Paris, where he continued to work as an image technician till the age of 18. He started making short films without real mediums and mixed his technical learning with his desire to direct. At 21, he abandoned fiction for documentary, in a desire to finally achieve a useful cinema, specifically meant to give voice to the LGBT community.
