SYNOPSIS: Melancholic and minimalistic narration in the form of animation about the transience of being and the levity of the time, about the illusion of freedom and the loneliness of a little man in the sea of life.
BIOGRAPHY: Marharita Tsikhanovich is an artist from Minsk, Belarus. Graduated from MGHK (Minsk State Fine Art College) im. AK Glebov in 2009 (painting), she moved to Czech Republic to study at University of West Bohemia (Ladislao Sutnar Faculty of Design ade Art) with a specialization in animation and interactive art. “Sea” won in Spain the Best Music Video’s prize, in Czech Republic at Animánie the Best Short Film’s prize and in Russia at Independent International Internet Short Film Festival the Diploma Winner Second Degree. Margherita Tsikhanovich, thanks to this short movie, has also won in the United Kingdom the prize as Best Student Short Film at CAF (Celtic Animation Film Competition).
