A special program by Eugenio De Angelis
The Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival will host a selection of works from the last three editions of Madrid en Corto, a festival born in Madrid in 2005 which presents short movies realized by Spanish directors supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Madrid. The Festival is promoted and organized by ECAM, one of the most important schools of the Iberian Peninsula, in a distributing effort that doesn’t only care about the school’s prestige, but more in general about the development and the promotion of Spanish directors. In the case of Madrid en corto, the presence of already formed directors is evident in products that can be considered as professional from every point of view: they have well defined authorial features so there is a great variety of styles, tones and genres, but they are all united by a high-quality standard.
