SYNOPSIS: It is 1888 when Therese, a Bavarian botanist, undertakes a four-month expedition to Brazil. Trouble starts unfolding when a local guide, without knowing the real identity of the woman, refuses to take orders from her. Her noble ancestry proves to be a great and unexpected surprise.
PROFILE: Fabiana Serpa is a German-Brazilian filmmaker. In 2010, she graduated in Graphic Design, specialising in Moving Image and Photography from Central Saint Martins in London. She is presently attending a Master at ZHdK University in Zürich. Her background is in Motion Design and Post Production, having worked in the London Studio Momoco, and at São Paulo’s largest animation production company Vetor Zero and Lobo.cx. She had the opportunity to work for ParanoidBR, where one of the works she co-directed won several awards, including a golden Lion in Cannes.
