The connection between Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival and Francesco Pasinetti VideoContest recurs since the first edition. This contest was conceived and developed in Venice, and then gradually consolidated over themes such as intercultural and intergenerational dialogue, cordial cohabitation and sustainable tourism. It tells the history of the city through the genuine and fresh look of youngsters and the mature and accurate gaze of expert filmmakers. For its 14th edition, Venice is chosen amongst the protagonists of the contest as the crossroads between culture and arts, history and memory. During the special programme presented by Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival the show for the assignation of the prize will count a selection of works that won the previous edition of the Festival.
