SYNOPSIS: Seeking redemption, Patryk is trying to put his life together with Maja and to become a father to her son Mati. In order to get money for the wedding, he decides to become an accomplice in a drug smuggling. Unexpectedly, Mati’s biological father returns to the country. He represents everything Patryk lacks: stability, security and affluence. Patryk’s dreams collide with ruthless reality.
PROFILE: Michał Mieszczyk is a director located in Warsaw, Poland, graduate of Kieslowski Film School and finalist of many film competitions. As a screenwriter, he made his feature debut with Time for love directed by Miguel Velez. He is also the co-author of the script of the feature film by Marcin Koszalka, White Courage, now in cinemas. He is a scholarship holder of the Polish Film Institute with the script The Prince, a psychological thriller, written under the artistic supervision of Krzysztof Zanussi.
