SYNOPSIS: Phill is devastated after hearing from the doctor that his wife will die in a few hours. However, his world changes when he realizes he is living inside a novel in which he is the main character. Phill will embark on a journey to find the author in order to save his wife, but the author will imagine all sorts of obstacles in his attempt to stop him.
PROFILES: Diego Gómez and Joan Oliver first met in 2019, when they enrolled in the Audiovisual Communication Degree Course at the Universidad de Navarra. It immediately became clear that they had a shared and passionate interest in cinema and in telling stories, and right from the start they planned on working together in a project of their own. After four years of many team projects in class and with a good amount of ideas in mind, the opportunity of producing a short film as a Final Year Project came up. They invested a great amount of time discussing and searching for the right idea to develop their first shared screenplay. Finally, Off the Page was their final choice, the one that would become their cinematic debut.
