SYNOPSIS: In the countryside, siblings Leah (14) and Theo (10) live with their grandmother in an isolated farmhouse. When their grandmother suddenly dies, and the two kids find themselves completely on their own, that Leah, on the brink of puberty, has her first encounter with the opposite sex. Leah struggles to cope with being the woman of the house and is torn between taking responsibility for her brother and being thrown into womanhood.
PROFILE: Anna Roller was born in 1993 in Munich. After her diploma in High School she had an internship at e+p Films and at a feature film Tom und Hacke. She also worked as 1. AD for Short Films and at the Neuköllner Oper in Berlin. Since 2014 she studies Directing Feature Films at the University of Television and Film München.
