SYNOPSIS: Bijoli, a tailor of women’s apparel and care-giver to an old lady, lives a Mundane and lonesome life. One day an unexpected visitor comes to her little tailoring shop with an unusual request. Having never encountered anyone like him before that visit, she becomes enamoured by him and her existence is engulfed by his presence.
PROFILE: A postgraduate in Direction and Screenplay Writing for Cinema from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, India, Roopkatha Purakayastha currently freelances in fields of screenplay writing, videography and conceptualisation for film. She aims at collaborating in creating stories through moving imagery, for local and global art stages.
