Jiù zhèyàng, huìxīng zhuàng shàngle dìqiú – Romantic Eggs

SYNOPSIS: Some insects that are able to communicate telepathically warn a young girl that the Earth is about to end: to save it, she must retrieve seven mysterious eggs. Together with a group of friends, she will set out in search of these objects in a lively visual and musical journey that moves from black and white images to brightly coloured scenes, from French chanson to post-punk.

PROFILE: Sun Xingping is an emerging Chinese filmmaker. A student at the Director Department of the Beijing Film Academy, in 2021 he was awarded at the Ribalta Experimental Film Festival in Vignola for his short film Romantic Eggs.
