SYNOPSIS: About men without men… The place is Czechoslovakia, the year 1989. We see what happens to a lost, troubled young girl in an abortion clinic when she realizes that she has forgotten to bring her own socks. But above all, we are confronted with a question about the value of free will: how free are we to choose if the environment around us is hostile and against to our “free” choices.
PROFILE: Dominik György is a young cinema student of 22 years old, from Slovakia. He studied at Private Secondary School of Film Arts in Kosice as a director of photography, sound designer, film editor, screenwriter, director and producer. He recently graduated at FAMU: Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in Czech Republic, where he studied at film directing department. He is mostly known for his short films such as “The Next Stop” (2018) or “Swine or Somebody to Love” (2020) that have been already presented in different film festivals. Dominik has been making movies since he was nine years old.
